01

Check freshness

Confirm the latest successful import, scheduled-job state, webhook processing, and any provider quota or authentication error before relying on a queue or report.

02

Check record usability

Review contactability, vehicle identifiers and mileage, service and financial history, customer/vehicle/order linkage, duplicate candidates, malformed values, and the provenance of the source fields used in a decision.

03

Check workflow coverage

A healthy connection does not guarantee that every business question has enough history. Prior-period comparisons, opportunity reasoning, and customer value depend on the relevant imported records.

04

Review before cleanup

VehicleDesk can identify and preview duplicate or merge candidates, but the current data-quality workflow is review-first and does not advertise destructive automatic merging.

05

Keep evidence

Record warnings, repair actions, owner, date, source, and verification result so a confidence score remains explainable instead of becoming another opaque number.
