Accessibility

VehicleDesk targets WCAG 2.2 AA.

WCAG 2.2 AA is the product target, not a certification claim. The marketing and authenticated interfaces use accessible patterns and automated checks, with manual screen-reader, contrast, zoom, and task review still required.

Implemented interaction patterns

The marketing shell uses semantic landmarks and heading structure, a first-focus skip link, visible focus treatment, keyboard-operable navigation and disclosure controls, and descriptive image alternatives.

The mobile navigation manages focus, closes with Escape, restores focus to its trigger, locks background scrolling, and keeps touch controls at a usable size.

Reduced-motion styles remove nonessential movement. Responsive checks cover phone, tablet, desktop, forced-color, and 200% zoom conditions for representative routes.

Color is not intended to be the only carrier of state; labels, text, icons, structure, and focus treatment accompany important status and controls.

Feedback and current evidence

A monitored public accessibility contact is not configured in this environment. The current support route will show an approved contact path when one becomes available.

Automated Axe, keyboard, responsive, reduced-motion, forced-color, and zoom checks can catch important regressions, but they do not establish complete WCAG conformance.

Manual screen-reader walkthroughs, contrast review, real-device input testing, and production feedback remain required evidence. Known barriers should be recorded with the affected page and task.

Accessibility is a product requirement and cannot be traded away for conversion, decorative motion, or a visual treatment.
